Captain Stottlemeyer is provoked into violence by a man who claims to be having an affair with the captain's wife (the provocation is intended to contaminate a crime scene and allow him get away with murder). Captain Stottlemeyer is required to go to anger management classes as a result. He is told to say 'these things happen' when he gets angry to stop him doing anything else and that anger is only a feeling and as an adult he doesn't have to act on that feeling. This is only from a story, but is exactly the kind of advice you would get at an anger management session.
What about women who get mad at their husbands for having affairs, or just for wanting a divorce and respond by cutting up the husbands clothes, or vandalising his car, etc.....? "anger is only a feeling and as an adult she doesn't have to act on that feeling".
Or women who kill their sleeping husbands because they are afraid of them? "fear is only a feeling and as an adult she doesn't have to act on that feeling". If you are in fear of your husband you have options, you don't have to kill him. Particularly not when he is sleeping - a perfect time to leave. Men have very few options if they want to leave an abusive wife. There are approximately 478 shelters for battered wives in the UK (1). There are only 2 domestic violence shelters that will accept men. Only 1 is solely for men and their children.
The most extreme statistics regarding proportion of victims of domestic violence in the UK come from counts of reported crime. They indicate that men are victims in about 15% of reported domestic violence crimes(2). But shelters that accept men account for only 0.4% of the total. The yearly rate for domestic violence is 4.2% for men and 4.2% women (British Crime Survey 1996, reported in HORS 191).
Women's Aid run most of the domestic violence shelters in the UK. They do now admit that at least some men are victims of domestic violence, but none of their centres will admit men. Most will not even admit women with sons over the age of 14. The only shelters that do admit men are run by The Mankind Initiative (see my links) which is not mentioned at all on the Women's Aid website.
More statistics on domestic violence can be found HERE. The reality is more complicated than feminist organisations like Women's Aid would have you believe.

Don't let them.

It is simply a collection of refernces to the horrible things some women will do.
You might think this is simply female bashing, but there is more to it than that. Many feminist campaigns and arguments are based on the idea that 'women do no wrong'. To counter those type of arguments you need examples of cases where women have done wrong, however distasteful such a blog might appear to be.

And to follow that up - all charges dropped: Reformed Idealism - Update: Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo will not face rape charge
Feminists are still pushing for increased rape convictions by removing basic legal rights such as "presumed innocent until proven guilty". Feminists now want men to prove they are innocent, rather than be proved guilty. They have already managed to get anonymity for 'rape victims' - i.e. all accusers, giving much more scope for false accusations.

The Eternal bachelor provides another example of where 'accidental' pregnancies come from:
I seduced my future husband to hide my love child. But I have no regrets.
"Despite learning the truth a few years ago, Amy, an 18-year-old college student, still calls another man Dad - my ex-husband Tom. We were married by the time she was born and he has no idea he's not her real father.
It's a deceit I - and now Amy - have carried out to protect the people we love, and although I'm not proud of having lied, I have no regrets about conceiving a child with the married man I had an affair with. "
Of course that's not the only possible scenario. It could just as easily be a married woman having an affair after getting married, then not telling her husband that the baby is not (or might not be) his. We've all heard the jokes about the milkman.
Of course if there had been a male pill available, and Tom was using it he would not have been fooled by this woman's trickery and deceit. Even if he hadn't been taking the pill the knowledge of it's existence might have prevented the woman from trying to dupe him into 'fatherhood'.
Feminist's main objection to the male pill is that women might not trust their partners to remember to take it. A fairly pathetic argument given all the contraceptive methods already available to women. If a woman is really that worried about her partners memory, she has lots of other options she can choose unilaterally.
Could the feminist's real reason be more along the lines of protecting lying women like this one, so that they can extort money out of unsuspecting men?

I'm not the only one who thinks so.

I printed off 5 sheets of A4, with this on one side:
and this on the other:
Then just cut the sheets in half, and folded them so that 'Please Take One' was on the front.
I took the ten leaflets with me to a CEROC class, and left them in the men's toilets next to the sink. I left them there at 8:30, and when I checked at 10pm they were all gone.
There is already a lot of good material on the web, but it can be hard to find if you don't know exactly where it is. Maybe leaving a few leaflets like this can help some new men find these sites. You could do this yourself. You could leave them anywhere you go - at your local pub, at the shops, at the gym.... You don't need to have a website or blog of your own - just list a few of the best ones you know.

"The call for equal rights evolved into a quest for gender equality when a distinction was made between gender and sex. Sex is biological: Females have two X chromosomes and males have one X and one Y chromosome. Gender, on the other hand, is a social construct that describes what is feminine and what is masculine. Recognizing that gender roles are not inborn but rather learned, proponents of gender equality challenged the stereotypes and pervasive discrimination that kept women and girls socially and economically disadvantaged."
The problem is that their assumption is simply wrong. Gender is the name given to those parts of your sexual identity (masculine/feminine) that are socially constructed, but gender is only a part of what you are. Some of what is thought of as masculine is due to 'gender', but not all. All the feminist arguments about things like the wage gap, differences in the numbers of women in government or businesses, or the amount of housework men do are based on this assumption that men and women are just the same and any differences are solely due to 'gender'. The arguments fall apart if there is anything else involved.
But there are sex differences that are not due to society. Lots of them. You can find differences in the way boy babies and girls babies behave when they are only a few months old. Surely that can't be due to societal conditioning. An example - girls babies have a preference for look at faces that boy babies do not. In experiments boy babies will look at an abstract mobile just as much as one based on faces, but girls babies look at the faces mobile longer than an abstract one.
Later on differences show up in IQ tests and brain scans. Standard IQ tests contain two types of questions - verbal/language questions and logical/spatial questions. On average men do better on the logical/spatial questions, and women do better on verbal/language questions. The difference is seen across different cultures.
In brain scans different parts of the brain are shown to be active when a person performs a certain task. Women's brains process language equally in both the left and right hemispheres. Men's brains only process language on the left side of the brain, and in a slightly different area. When someone is trying to answer a spatial question, women still use both sides of the brain (the same area's they use for language). Men only use the left hemisphere, but they use a different area to the one they use for language. That explains why men do better on some of the IQ test questions - they have a specialised area of the brain they can use for those types of questions.
Put simply what all that means is that men and women think differently. Given that is true, it makes no sense to expect them to behave in exactly the same way. It doesn't make sense for them to want to do exactly the same jobs, or be equally good at the same jobs, or get the same amount of satisfaction from doing to same jobs. So if you want to prove that women are being short-changed in some way you need a much better argument than 'gender'.

"I predict that when this new pill becomes available there will be a sudden drop in the number 'accidental' pregnancies."
Today I found a reference to a survey another blog ( Another Day In The Jungle ), to support my prediction.
"They also said four out of ten (42%) would lie about contraception in order to get pregnant, in spite of the wishes of their partner."

Don't focus so much on meeting a woman's needs that you neglect your own.
Don't sacrifice your own viewpoints just because it makes her so happy when you concede to her.
Don't tolerate psychotic behavior no matter how good she is in bed.
If she even mentions feminism, women's studies or male oppression, run like hell.
Don't believe her when she says she can't get pregnant – always use a condom. She can get out of it, you can't.
Don't let a woman, her family, or society pressure you into marriage if that's not what you want.
Also, don't get married unless you're willing to accept that you will have less sex, that you will be expected to apologize for everything no matter who is at fault, and that most likely, your wife will feel unfulfilled no matter what path she chooses. That said, give them a shot. Just understand the risks you are taking.

I was doing a little research on the Fawcett Society website and I found this page:
Two things jumped out at me. First the Fawcett Society gets funding from the government - paid for out of YOUR taxes. Second the Fawcett Society gets funding from Oxfam.
I had never thought of Oxfam as a feminist organisation until very recently. I thought Oxfam was all about ending poverty and making sure everyone had access to a basic standard of living (access to enough food, adequate shelter and clean water). That is what you would think from their adverts. Like the one I saw yesterday on the back of the New Scientist.
But that is not so. They have also been infected with feminism. Any money you give to them could be handed over to the Fawcett Society or some other feminist pressure group.
Be careful who you give your money too. If anyone of you is giving them any money I urge you to stop, and tell them why. That you stopped sending them donations because of their hidden feminist agenda.
If you want to give money to charity there are other man friendly ones you could donate too. Mankind would be a good choice, or the UK Men's Movement. There are others. Check out my links or do a little searching yourself.
